Dmitry Pyshny, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, noted that the Russian Ministry of Education and Science is ready to support training in the specialties in demand for the Iranian economy by increasing the quote (full tuition fees scholarships) of the Russian Government for Iranian students.
For the 2023/24 academic year, 300 budget seats have been allocated for Iranian citizens.
An important step for further increase of quotas will be the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on mutual recognition of education, qualifications and degrees between two contries.
