PFUR will host All-Russian Olympiad for students in Russian as a foreign language

 The topic will be "Russia - the country of new professional opportunities. International students who study at Russian universities can take part in the Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language (RCT). The contest will be held in the Philological Faculty of the PFUR from November 13th till December 8th. The competition will have two tracks: Humanities and separate tracks of Science and Technology. Any Russian university with international students is welcome to apply. Universities will form a team comprised of a head and one to four students for whom Russian is not their native language. All participants will write an essay, which will be evaluated blindly by at least two jury members. Also, all students will prepare a video project of up to three minutes in which they will demonstrate their monologue speaking skills. All videos will be posted publicly on the "Russian in Focus" YouTube channel and will be available for comment. The Olympiad will be held completely remotely for the first time.
