Moscow Polytechnic University has announced the launch of a new large-scale project, “Around the World Together,” aimed at strengthening intercultural ties. The initiative, developed by the university’s International Office, will serve as a platform for learning about the traditions and history of countries represented by both international students and Russian students.

Kazan Federal University, together with scientists from Sharof Rashidov Samarkand State University, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, and Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, organized an international scientific conference entitled Modern Pedagogical Education in International, National, and Regional Dimensions. Following the conference, a collection of scientific papers was published by a foreign publishing house.

The Institute of Personalized Oncology at Sechenov University and Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of oncology. The partnership aims to create a joint mirror technology laboratory. It will develop and implement the latest cellular technologies and genome editing methods to create personalized anticancer drugs.

The project, organized by the International Youth Center of RUDN in conjunction with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, will help future graduates deepen their knowledge in the fields of business, international relations, and grant activities, as well as open up new career prospects in Russia and abroad.

The Center had previously been operating successfully at the Institute and providing comprehensive support to foreign students, but it has only now acquired its own space.

The lists of winners in the doctoral and post-doctoral tracks have been published in the participants' personal accounts and on subject area pages.

Maxim Poletaev, representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in St. Petersburg, held a protocol meeting with Issa Togo, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mali in St. Petersburg and the Ambassador of Russian Education and Science from SPbPU. 

Milica Rakina, a young scientist from the Chemistry Department at Tomsk State University, is working with colleagues from Radan Intan University (Lampung, Indonesia) to test animal products for compliance with halal standards. The scientists have successfully developed DNA analysis protocols that allow them to detect traces of pork, alcohol, and other non-halal components with high accuracy.

On February 3, 2026, a meeting of the Russian-Brazilian Working Group on Educational, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in Rio de Janeiro, timed to coincide with the visit of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Brazil.

The authors include staff members from the country's first department of cyberpsychology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Lobachevsky University in Nizhny Novgorod.

A delegation from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Russian Federation, led by the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, visited Moscow Polytechnic University. During the meeting, the guests and University administration representatives explored ways to expand their partnership and for implementing new joint initiatives.

Finding employment in Russia upon graduating from HSE University–St Petersburg is realistic—this was the message conveyed on January 25 (Student Day) at a panel session featuring graduates of the university. Sharing both their academic journey and professional achievements, they spoke at the conference organised in the Rope Shop Educational Space.

The Open Doors website has also published lists of participants who have advanced to the third stage in the doctoral and post-doctoral tracks.
