Halfway through the registration period for the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project, the number of applications has exceeded last year's figures
Registration for the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project for foreign citizens began on September 1, 2025. During the first half of the registration period, more than 143,000 people from 201 countries registered for the competition, which corresponds to last year's figure at the end of the registration stage.

Effective models for attracting foreign talent: KFU hosted a methodological seminar for the Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project
A methodological seminar aimed at finding effective models for organizing and conducting intellectual online competitions for talented foreign youth, taking into account the diversity of foreign education systems, was held on October 16-17 in Kazan and brought together more than 120 experts from leading Russian universities organizing the Open Doors project from 13 regions of Russia. The methodological seminar was held as part of the implementation of the event “Organization and Conduct of the Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project” of the federal project “Russia in the World” of the national project “Youth and Children.”
