MEPhI scientists awarded for the implementation of a non-invasive method to study cultural heritage objects
An innovative non-invasive method of muonography for the study of large objects, developed by a team of authors from NRNU MEPhI, NITU MISIS and FIAN, has been highly appreciated in the 2022 Makariev Prize for Natural Sciences. The scientists' development won the third prize in the category "Methods of natural and exact sciences in the study of the history of the Church, Christian antiquities and the cultural heritage of Russia and the Slavic countries, and innovative technologies that ensure high quality of heritage preservation".

The ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) World Championship concluded in Dhaka.
The 45th ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) World Championship Final was held on November 11, 2022 in Dhaka, the capital of the Republic of Bangladesh. Teams of 140 universities from 45 countries took part in the final. Russia was represented by students of 11 universities, 6 of which are organizers of the Olympiad: Higher School of Economics, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Ural Federal University, Higher School of Economics (St. Petersburg branch), ITMO University, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and Nizhny Novgorod State University. -

You can select UP TO THREE potential research supervisors, whose fields of research match your research interests, through your Olympiad account no later than three days before the beginning of the interview.
