Lobachevsky University was represented by Valeriya Zlobina, foreign students’ coordination specialist.
KFU was represented by personnel from the Foreign relations department as well as faculty linked to Earth & Environmental Sciences for Sustainability, Biology & Biotechnology, Business & Management, Economics & Econometrics, Engineering & Technology, Computer & Data Science and Applied Mathematics & Artificial Intelligence subject areas.
The viewers got acquainted with the universities and their home cities, as well as educational and research programs they offer, detail of life on campus and helpful services offered to foreign students. University representatives also answered the viewers’ questions.

More than 500 people from 33 regions of Russia, including the new territories, and 10 countries near and far abroad participated in the event: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Germany, the United States, Bangladesh, India, Ethiopia, and Namibia. More than 150 speakers presented papers on the challenges of inclusion as a social phenomenon in the professional sphere.
The event aimed to identify new channels for attracting students, enter unexplored international markets, and establish a presence there to increase interest in studying at NSU and other Russian universities.
The collaboration between the Institute of Economics and Management at Tomsk State University and its Chinese partners is reaching new heights. Two years ago, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with Nindge Normal University and Jilin University of Foreign Languages (PRC), laying the groundwork for joint training programs and student exchanges. And this semester, a group of students from TSU’s Institute of Economics and Management is studying in China.
Vietnam’s first in-person Global HackAtom student competition on nuclear technologies is currently taking place in Hanoi. The event, organized by Tomsk Polytechnic University and the Rosatom State Corporation with the support of the State Specialized Design Institute (part of the Rosatom State Corporation) and the Vietnam Institute of Nuclear Energy (VINATOM), has brought together more than 20 teams from 10 of the country’s leading universities and institutes.
The ensemble includes students from Russia, Nigeria, Syria, Egypt, and Uzbekistan.
