On March 4, 2026, the grand opening of the Center for Support of International Activities of the ICTIS SFedU, now located in its own auditorium G-145, took place. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Gennady Veselov, Director of the SFedU Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security (ICTIS), and Larisa Bykasova, Head of the Center.
The new space is equipped with everything necessary for the effective fulfillment of the Center's main objectives, which are focused on attracting foreign students and employees to study and work at ICTIS SFedU, organizing and supporting international activities, and coordinating ICTIS SFedU's cooperation with foreign partners.
Most importantly, ICTIS students who have come to Russia from different parts of the world now know where to go when they encounter various problems and can receive real help or simply support from specialists.
The opening of the Center in this format once again emphasizes the importance of developing international relations to strengthen the position of our university in the global educational arena, as well as demonstrating the expansion of opportunities for foreign students and teachers.

Moscow Polytechnic University has announced the launch of a new large-scale project, “Around the World Together,” aimed at strengthening intercultural ties. The initiative, developed by the university’s International Office, will serve as a platform for learning about the traditions and history of countries represented by both international students and Russian students.
Kazan Federal University, together with scientists from Sharof Rashidov Samarkand State University, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, and Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, organized an international scientific conference entitled Modern Pedagogical Education in International, National, and Regional Dimensions. Following the conference, a collection of scientific papers was published by a foreign publishing house.
The Institute of Personalized Oncology at Sechenov University and Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of oncology. The partnership aims to create a joint mirror technology laboratory. It will develop and implement the latest cellular technologies and genome editing methods to create personalized anticancer drugs.
The project, organized by the International Youth Center of RUDN in conjunction with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, will help future graduates deepen their knowledge in the fields of business, international relations, and grant activities, as well as open up new career prospects in Russia and abroad.
The Russian-Arabic Language and Culture Club has opened at the SPbPU Institute of Humanities. The new student initiative is aimed at developing intercultural dialogue, strengthening humanitarian ties and expanding international cooperation of the university.
