Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) invites foreign students in their final year to join the second wave of the all-Russian additional development program “Horizons of Opportunity.” The project, organized by the International Youth Center of RUDN in conjunction with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, will help future graduates deepen their knowledge in the fields of business, international relations, and grant activities, as well as open up new career prospects in Russia and abroad.
The Horizons of Opportunity program is aimed at in-depth study of the humanities by foreign students at Russian universities. The most distinguished participants will be offered internships that open up prospects for further professional growth.
Participants can choose from three schools, with classes held online from June to August 2026:
International School of Economics
These classes focus on the theoretical and practical foundations of business and entrepreneurship in Russia, the specifics of marketing and branding in the Russian market, the study of qualitative market and business analysis methods, as well as Russia's current international economic relations. The skills acquired during the program will help graduates of the School to implement their own business initiatives.
International Humanitarian School
Classes at the School focus on the current state of international relations, methods of analyzing international relations, various stages in the evolution of Russian foreign policy, and Russia's current initiatives in the field of international humanitarian cooperation. Students will gain a better understanding of the global situation and Russia's position on key geopolitical issues.
International School of Humanitarian Cooperation
Classes focus on the theoretical and practical foundations of grant project budgeting, writing letters of support, and selecting a relevant grant project topic, which will help School participants create their own projects and obtain funding from Russian grant organizations after graduation.
The 150 best participants in the online stage will be invited to in-person regional intensives in Moscow, Vladivostok, St. Petersburg, and Krasnodar. The 50 finalists will attend the Best Graduates Convention in Moscow on December 2–4, with the participation of experts and the opportunity to become part of the program's professional community.

FEFU students must register on the official website https://horizonty.online/sign-up by May 31, 2026, fill out a questionnaire, take a test, and upload a video presentation. The selection results will be announced no later than June 12.
It should be noted that FEFU is the absolute leader among universities in the Far Eastern Federal District in terms of the number of foreign students. Today, almost 5,000 foreign citizens are studying full-time in Vladivostok. Over the course of 125 years, FEFU has developed an extensive partnership network in the Asia-Pacific region, comprising more than 200 foreign universities and research centers. The key tool for FEFU's international activities is its network of offices in Asia-Pacific countries. The university has already opened four overseas offices in Hanoi (Vietnam), Beijing (China), Tokyo (Japan), and New Delhi (India). FEFU also has a branch in Japan and 17 Russian Language and Culture Centers in China.
