During the working visit Alexey Voronov, Head of the Center for the Development of Advanced Materials Science, and Alexey Razumovsky, Head The Product Development and Partnership Departments of the Advanced Research Foundation visited Southern Federal University to get acquainted with its research infrastructure.
In Rostov-on-Don, the delegation visited the Scientific and Technological Research Center for Neurotechnology, the Center of Competence "Bioengineering of Soils", the Faculty of Chemistry, the laboratories of the International Institute of Intelligent Materials and the Research Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry. Special attention was paid to the Center for Micro- and Low-Tonnage Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, where they presented the results of a strategic technological project implemented under the Priority 2030 program.
On the second day of the visit, work continued in Taganrog, at the site of the Advanced Engineering School of the Southern Federal University, where Alexey Voronov and Alexey Razumovsky were shown anechoic chamber, developments in nanotechnology, microelectronics and neuromorphic electronics, as well as projects of the Cyberphysical Platforms division — from laboratories of unmanned systems to biohybrid technologies and solutions for autonomous navigation.
Representatives of the Foundation highly appreciated the scientific and technological potential of the university and noted that they intend to further develop cooperation with the SFedU in promising areas of research. The university emphasized that the partnership with FPI remains one of the strategic directions of development and allows for the implementation of projects related to neurotechnology, robotic systems and other advanced developments thanks to expert support.
