The Center for Micro- and low-tonnage Chemistry was opened in SFedU
We continue to talk about all the updates that are taking place in our SFedU! This year, the opening of the Center for Micro- and Low-Tonnage Chemistry and Chemical Engineering took place.
The new center is a unique platform that eliminates the expensive and lengthy "pilot" stage.
The center is equipped with a complete technological chain: from basic research to industrial production. It is based on an intelligent microfluidic platform with elements of artificial intelligence, which reduces the time needed to develop materials and strengthens the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation. Currently, two priority areas are being implemented: synthesis of metal-organic frameworks for energy and ecology; production of functional silicones for catalysis, pharmaceuticals and composite materials. The Center promotes the synergy of fundamental science, technology and industry, laying the foundation for the innovative development of the industry. It is a strategic step for the region and the country, as such sites shape the future of Russian science and industry.
It was created with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
