Chinese students graduate from Plekhanov University's English‑taught programme

This summer, together with Russian students, learners from China successfully completed their studies on the English‑taught "Bachelor of Economics" programme at the Faculty of Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Arriving on exchange from partner universities — Harbin University of Commerce and Heilongjiang International University — 19 Chinese students not only gained knowledge through the educational programme but also had the opportunity to get acquainted with Plekhanov University, Moscow, and the country as a whole. During their time in Russia, the international guests managed to learn about the Russian language and culture, and also made new friends.

Upon completion of their studies, the students expressed special gratitude to the faculty teaching staff. The students from China highly appreciated not only the quality of education but also the responsive and friendly attitude of their mentors. Heartfelt words of appreciation were addressed to teacher Elena Evgenievna Sidorova from the Department of Foreign Languages No. 3:

"Thank you very much for how attentively and selflessly you guided us in our studies throughout the academic year. Under your guidance, our knowledge became significantly deeper, and our practical skills noticeably improved. We are very grateful to you for that! Although your course has ended, the knowledge and experience you have passed on to us will forever remain in our hearts, and we will always remember you."

The entire teaching staff of the HSEB Faculty also recalls working with this group with special warmth.

International cooperation remains one of the priority directions of Plekhanov University's development. The university is proud that the long‑standing traditions of international student exchanges, established back in 1992, are successfully developing. The HSEB Faculty is already beginning preparations for the new academic year and is looking forward to welcoming the next group of international students!
