Registration for the Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project International Olympiad for Foreign Citizens began on August 20, 2026. In less than a month, more than 100,000 people from 190 countries around the world have registered as participants in the project. Registration will close on November 1. Based on currently available data, the total number of registered participants is projected to significantly exceed last year’s figures. 

According to the Olympiad’s rules, each registered participant may apply to compete in intellectual competitions for talented youth across several tracks and profiles. To date, registered participants have submitted more than 276,000 portfolios. The following four profiles are the most popular among Olympiad participants: “Computer Science and Data Science” (over 38,000 participants), “Clinical Medicine and Public Health” (over 31,000 participants), “Engineering and Technology” (over 31,000 participants), and “Business and Management” (over 32,000 participants).
