Two new universities have joined the organisers of Open Doors
Ufa University of Science and Technology and Irkutsk National Technical University have joined the project’s organisers.

UrFU Graduate School of Economics and Management was awarded “3 Palmes of Exellence” by 2026 Business School & University Ranking Worldwide. This level corresponds to the status of “Top Business School with Significant International Influence”. The school’s new status will be featured in the next edition of the Eduniversal Best Business Schools Ranking.
The Palmes of Excellence system comprises five levels reflecting the scope of a school's international influence. In its official commentary, Eduniversal noted that GSEM UrFU occupies a prominent place in the international academic community. Ranking experts highlighted several success factors: a strong academic foundation, the development of critical thinking, responsible leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students. Together, these enable the school to train managers equipped to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
GSEM develops international educational programs and academic partnerships, cooperates with companies, expands opportunities for international mobility of students and faculty, and implements digital solutions and sustainable development projects. It is from this broad range of activities that the school's international reputation is built.
The prestigious status was the result of work by a large team of internal and external stakeholders: faculty, researchers, students, management, alumni, and partners of the school.
Reference
Eduniversal is one of the world's leading rankings in management education. Each year, it evaluates more than a thousand business schools from 154 countries. In 2026, 1,032 business schools were included in the official ranking pool. The selection and methodology are overseen by an International Scientific Committee comprising representatives from different regions of the world. A key element of the methodology is the Deans' Vote — an annual vote by business school leaders from various countries who recommend institutions to colleagues and prospective students.
