On the margins of the forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" a bilateral meeting of delegations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia was held.
The meeting resulted in the signing of memorandums of understanding between the scientific and educational organizations of the two countries.
Airat Gatiyatov noted the interest of Russian universities in the development of cooperation with Malaysian partners in such fields as microelectronics, electrical engineering, automobile construction, IT, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, photonics, nuclear physics, nanomaterials and oil and gas business.
