In the Career Club group, you will find all the up‑to‑date information about internships, practical training, and job vacancies for students of MEPhI. You will also be able to take part in unique events for MEPhI students, including excursions to Russian nuclear power plants, meetings with partner companies, and, most importantly, Career Forums for MEPhi students, which bring together representatives from over a hundred partner companies and are organized every semester.

For foreign applicants planning to enter the Russian Federation to study at the expense of federal budget funds within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation, a visa is issued based on an invitation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. For foreign applicants who have successfully passed the entrance exams and been enrolled at the university, a study visa is issued based on an invitation from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. To obtain it, it is necessary to contact the academic department of their institute after the issuance of the enrollment order. Information about the orders is posted on the website of the admissions committee.

Regulatory documents regulating the status of foreign citizens at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI include both federal laws and international treaties, as well as local acts of the university. They determine the procedure for admission, training, recognition of foreign education and other aspects of interaction with foreign students.

Foreign citizens who do not speak Russian may be enrolled in the preparatory department of the Faculty of International Students in Moscow (NRNU MEPhI) or in Obninsk (IATE NRU MEPhI). The duration of study in the preparatory department is one year. This year is not included in the duration of study under the main professional educational programs. In addition to Russian, foreign students in the preparatory department also study other subjects depending on the specialty they intend to obtain in the future. At the end of the academic year, final exams are held. Students who successfully pass the exams receive a certificate of completion from the preparatory department of the Faculty of Foreign Students, which gives them the right to continue their studies in their chosen field (only for students admitted under a quota provided by Rossotrudnichestvo).
