MGIMO Buddy
Each student is assigned a mentor — a MGIMO Buddy — a senior student who helps international students adapt quickly to university and city life. They answer questions, explain how academic life works, and provide practical advice about campus, housing, transportation, and leisure in Moscow. The mentor supports students during the first weeks of studies and can assist in finding off-campus rental housing to make adaptation easier and more comfortable.
Integration Events, Excursions, and Cultural Trips
MGIMO Integration Days are a series of events aimed at helping international students adapt to academic and social life at the University and in the city. The program includes:
- Interactive lectures on Russian history and culture
- Guided tours of the MGIMO campus and Moscow landmarks
- Quests and master classes.
Events are held in both Russian and English.
Organizational support is provided by the International Office (visa-related assistance)
The MGIMO Career Center provides comprehensive support to University students and graduates on employment issues, including for international students.
