40,000 participants have registered for the Open Doors Olympiad 2019

A little more than a week before Open Doors first stage ends, we have 40,000 participants from 183 countries. In the end, no more than 45% of the participants in each subject area will take part in the final round of the Olympiad (granted that they filled in their portfolios correctly and submitted all the required info). The results of portfolio evaluation will be announced on December 30.

Most popular subject areas this year are Business and Management (7565 participants) together with Engineering and Technology (7010 participants), followed by Computer and Data Science (5567 participants), Political Science (4550 participants), Biology (3337 participants), Economics (2953 participants), Linguistics and Modern Languages (2358 participants), Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (2262 participants), Psychology (2046 participants), Chemistry (1318 participants) and Physics (1199 participants).

The first stage will end on December 18. All portfolios will be examined equally, so everyone has a chance. If you are thinking of applying but are not sure if you can handle it - we recommend to get rid of all doubts and register this very day. There is still time!
